  1. 晉代左思寫成〈三都賦〉後，時人競相傳寫，使洛陽的紙價上漲而昂貴。典出《晉書·卷九二·文苑傳·左思傳》。後比喻著作風行一時，流傳甚廣。《孽海花·第二回》：「即如寫字的莫友芝，畫畫的湯壎伯，非不洛陽紙貴，名震一時，總嫌帶著江湖氣。」
