程ㄔㄥˊchéng邈ㄇㄧㄠˇmiǎo

人名。字元岑，秦下杜人（今陝西省西安縣南），生卒年不詳。嘗為縣獄吏，因獲罪幽繫於雲陽，在獄中省改小篆，創新體，始皇善之而赦其罪，出為御史，名其書為隸書，定為八體之一。
