翰ㄏㄢˋhàn林ㄌㄧㄣˊlín

  1. 職官名。唐宋為內庭供奉之官，方技、雜流，亦待詔翰林。明清則為進士朝考後，得庶吉士的稱號。

  2. 形容文翰之多如林。《文選·揚雄·長楊賦》：「聊因筆墨之成文章，故藉翰林以為主人　。」
