  1. 古代帝王在郊外祭祀天地的典禮。《左傳·襄公七年》：「夫郊祀后稷，以祈農事也。」《文選·揚雄·甘泉賦》：「上方郊祀甘泉泰畤、汾陰后土，以求繼嗣。」也稱為「郊社」。
